Investigators are becoming more critical than ever to companies?
Corporate Investigators – Your need to know!
In business, today, having access to experienced corporate investigators, regardless of whether you are a multinational or a private company is paramount.
The need for solid background and real-time information on these core sectors such as competitors, staff, brands, business associates and markets is essential to business and your success. The practice of engaging external investigators to provide unbiased information and business intelligence has become even more important.
Being able to predict and anticipate a person’s or competitor’s moves helps give you the edge and often protects your brand and reputation. There is not a week goes by that SWA is not asked to become involved in obtaining business intelligence of one form or another, for example:
Recent Investigation Case:
SWA was approached by high profile Sydney client that has a business outside of his normal day job. The investigation into the business activities of the person in question and subsequent surveillance led our investigator to an ICE sale and distribution ring.
Our surveillance team worked for two weeks mainly in the late hours and early morning following and gathering evidence on the person’s activity. At the end of the investigation, our team had gathered enough evidence to provide to the police. Little did we know that the police were already aware of this individual and her associated activities, but at that time didn’t have sufficient resources or evidence to proceed against the group.
The police, to say the least, were over the moon to obtain the information, evidence & surveillance footage, our client approved for release.
Most importantly, our client now had the information he needed to act decisively without risk of possible litigation or complaints against him, thus ensuring his reputation remained intact
This is just a small sample of what our team can achieve given the right circumstance. SWA is regularly engaged by private companies and law firms in the following areas.
• Workplace investigation
• Pre-employment checks
• Workplace misconduct
• Intellectual Property
• Trademark, counterfeit goods, mystery shoppers
• Criminal Defence
• Factual support evidence
• Contractual due diligence
• Commercial Background assessment
• Background Checks on both senior and general Staff
Engage experienced private investigators
It is super important to engage experienced private investigators who know what is and what isn’t acceptable evidence which is free from bias and politics.
